This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts, and it has no accounts or forms. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you open a page. Orders are placed on Etsy, which handles payment and customer data under its own privacy policy.
Instagram messages and comments
We use automation tools to reply to people who interact with our Instagram account. When you comment on one of our posts or reels with a keyword such as "SHOP", or send us a direct message containing that keyword, we receive the following through Meta’s official Instagram API:
- your Instagram username and Instagram-scoped user ID,
- the text of your comment or message, and the post it relates to,
- the time of the comment or message.
We use this only to send you the link to our shop as a private message (and, if enabled, a public reply under your comment), to prevent sending the same message twice, and to fix problems with the automation. We keep a delivery log of what was sent and whether it succeeded. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with data from other sources.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who ask us for our shop link (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who else handles data
- Meta Platforms (Instagram, Facebook) delivers the messages and comments to us and sends our replies. Their own privacy policy applies to their processing.
- Etsy processes orders, payments and customer data.
- Our automation software runs on our own equipment. We do not share your data with other third parties.
How long we keep data
We keep delivery logs only as long as needed to run and troubleshoot the automation, and delete them earlier if you ask us to.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, or to give you a copy of it. To delete your data, see our data deletion page. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
